Jets v. Brisbane
The Jets will win this. No doubt, or at least grab a draw. Brisbane, although turning it on in the second half against Melbourne Heart, looked absolutely ordinary in the first. The Jets on the other hand pretty much won their game against Adelaide in the first 15 minutes. Jeffers may struggle to complete two games in the space of 5 days, yet should he make an impact early on we could be in with a chance. Jesic will also hopefully continue to use those boots of his to score goals, while our defence has always been solid and we recorded two draws in our previous fixtures against the Brisbane outfit earlier this season. This will also be Roar’s 5th away game in a row, so fatigue could fall in the Jets’ favour. On a side note, both Milicevic and Wehrman are currently sitting on 4 yellow cards, one each for both of them in this match will result in bans for the visit of Wellington.
Melbourne Victory v. central coast
The Victory didn’t perform against Perth Glory away from home on the weekend and will be looking to bounce back against an in-form and exciting looking central coast side. The mariners have lost just twice all season and are on the back of three win which have produced 9 goals. Melbourne have lost their last two games, though the return of Archie Thompson has been a positive to take out of those matches. Really can’t see the central coast losing this match, however it will be their 5th consecutive away trip..
