Arsenal v. West Ham
Both teams are backing up from a Wednesday night match in the Carling Cup, with both sides progressing to the Quarter-Finals. West Ham had to play extra-time so it will be seen whether they have the legs to take on an Arsenal side that can wear teams down with their slick passing.
Blackburn v. Chelsea
Chelsea should beat the Rovers here. It’s the first game since Blackburn had their takeover but I can only see a Chelsea victory here.
Everton v. Stoke
Stoke are a tough side, and although Everton are starting to hit their strides, all I can see is a draw.
Fulham v Wigan
Fulham are always strong at home, will have too much for an inconsistent Wigan…
Wolves v. Man City
Wolves will prove a tough challenge, they seem to perform against the big teams.
Man Utd. v. Tottenham
Although Spurs are in form, I can’t see them getting one over Man Utd. The gulf between them is still too big
Aston Villa v. Birmingham
Derby day, Birmingham are always up for a match , especially against their rivals..despite home advantage, can’t see Villa winning this.
Newcastle v. Sunderland
It’s the biggest derby in the world (yea you heard it) on Sunday, with the Toon looking to bounce back from their 4-0 defeat to Arsenal in the Carling Cup. Old boy Bramble will be in for a bit of stick, as will Steve Bruce, who was is apparently a “toon” fan…fuck off buddy…Hopefully Carroll dominates and we get a win, but I’m a little worried
Bolton v. Liverpool
Bolton can be solid, and Elmander has finally been scoring a few goals for them..draw is on the cards, though Torres could prove the difference if he plays and plays well..
Blackpool v. West Brom
West Brom are in fine form and their new striker Odemwingie is also impressing at the moment. Can see the away team getting one over their fellow promotion partners in this match
